Pet import export transit. Travelling with pet overseas. We specialised in pet export and import. We also do pet transit via Singapore. For instance dogs, cats and small mammals. Small mammals permitted in Singapore includes hamsters, chinchilla, guinea pigs and small mice.
For Importation
Singapore has new import conditions (Schedule I, II & III) for cat/dog effective from 1 July 2024. There will be a 6-month adaptation period and during the 6-month adaptation period from 1 July to 31 December 2024, importers can choose to apply for licenses based on the previous conditions. Mixing of requirements not permitted.
Previous import requirements for dogs and cats to enter Singapore are split into the following categories:
- Category A: Australia, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom.
- Category B: Austria, Belgium, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, New Caledonia, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, USA (Guam & Hawaii only).
- Category C: Canada, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Republic of Korea, Slovak Republic (Slovakia), Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan, USA (except for Guam & Hawaii).
- Category D: All countries other than those listed in Category A, B or C.
New import requirements for dogs and cats to enter Singapore are categorised as follow:
- Schedule I: Australia New Zealand, UK & Ireland
- Schedule II: Austria, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong SAR, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, New Caledonia, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (except Ceuta and Melilla), Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, USA.
- Schedule III: All countries other than those listed in Schedule I & II.
Please note the countries listed in the above categories/schedules do change from time to time.
Dogs and cats from Category C and D or Schedule III countries must undergo quarantine upon their arrival in Singapore. Dogs and cats from Schedule II countries may need to undergo home quarantine upon their arrival in Singapore.
There is only one official quarantine station in Singapore and it is often fully booked. Thus, pet owners are advised to make quarantine reservation early. As Singapore is warm and humid throughout the year, it is recommended to book air-conditioned pen for your pet’s quarantine stay.

For Exportation
Like house rules, all countries have their own entry requirements and regulations for pets. Most countries require cats and dogs to have ISO microchips, valid vaccinations and health certificates before travel.
Certain countries like Australia, New Zealand & Japan have very stringent import requirements and, preparation to these countries can take up to 6-7 months.

Submission of Blood samples
If you need help in sending your pet’s blood sample to an approved overseas laboratory for testing, do let us know. We can collect your pets’ blood sample from any veterinary clinics in Singapore and forward them to an approved laboratory in overseas for testing.

Walking Exercise (for dogs)
Walking and playing must be part of dogs’ daily routine for healthy lifestyle. Want to walk or play with your dogs but too busy to do so. Look for us! We also do walking exercise at the Official Quarantine station in Singapore.
For pets transiting in Singapore, we can apply for the transshipment licence and book flight for cargo shipment for onward travel to destination. During the layover in Singapore, the pet will be transferred to the Airport Quarantine. Food and water will be provided during their stay Airport Quarantine, . Also, soiled bedding will be changed. Dogs will be let out for walk.
