Suki, the Labrador traveled from Singapore to Norway

I used Pets Lighthouse to move my dog, Suki – a young chocolate lab, from Singapore to Norway in September 2022. In the aftermath of the pandemic, the European airports were extremely chaotic, and I must admit I was quite stressed about the whole thing. 

I contacted them early, and Vivian and Frederick were very helpful in telling me what type of papers, vaccinations and travel preparations I needed before the flight. 

The day before my scheduled flight, KLM managed to cancel my flight and put me on a flight 2 days later. This added to the stress, and Suki had just had her deworming. Vivian and Frederick reassured me again, rearranging their own agendas so that Suki could have another deworming before the flight. 

Upon the day of the flight, they come home to get Suki, and since they had been there a couple of times before, Suki was calm and happy to go with them. On the airport, Vivian and Frederick met us and helped us with the whole check-in process, making sure Suki would have enough food and water for the trip.

KLM screwed up big time with delays and cancellations. However, Pets Lighthouse had prepared all documents needed and when I finally arrived in Norway, I knew exactly who to contact. I had everything needed with me for the Norwegian authorities to approve the entrance of Suki to Norway.

I would warmly recommend anyone to use Pets Lighthouse, they are true angels for our pets (and the owners).

Ziggie, the Dapple Dachshund traveled from Singapore to United Kingdom

We couldn’t recommend Pets Lighthouse enough! Frederick & Vivian were such an incredible help getting our dachshund Ziggie over the the UK! We felt so comfortable and confident under their care, and especially after meeting Frederick in person (he is the animal whisperer!) we were so happy with our decision!

We actually contacted a few relocation services in the lead up to our move, and were told by all how extremely hard it was to move pets over due to high demand and restrictions limiting animal exportation at this time, making it difficult to even confirm flights. After contacting Pets Lighthouse, Frederick immediately called me up and explained the procedure, with his best suggestion of flying Ziggie into Manchester since Heathrow is completely overwhelmed at the moment. He explained everything to us thoroughly, and even though the flight cannot be officially confirmed until around 3 weeks before departure we felt safe in the hands of the experts!

Frederick came to meet Ziggie about 5 weeks prior the move to make sure the pet container was the right size, and collect her documents. His energy was amazing, and Ziggie was instantly comfortable around him. When they collected her on the evening of the flight we were quite anxious of how she would be, but they assured us she would be fine and even sent us some photos of her before her flight! Ziggie was safely delivered to us in Brighton the following afternoon, she seemed calm and happy to see us!

She is now absolutely living her best life in Brighton and we would recommend Pets Lighthouse in a heartbeat!

Snoopy, the Domestic Shorthair traveled from Singapore to Thailand

Hi Frederick & Vivian,

All very smooth thank you. Arriving in Bangkok his box was very wet inside which I assumed was from the water bottle. But he was OK. Collection and customs in BKK was all very smooth.

Snoopy spent the first couple of days hiding within the curtains at his new home in Bangkok but finally came out today full of life and very frisky. It was a quite traumatic experience for him I think but he’ll be fine.

Thanks again for your professional service. Also because it is clear you guys care about the animals you deal with so that provides a lot of confidence to ‘pet-parents’ like Heidi and I.

Dua Dua, the Siamese traveled from Singapore to United States

Dear Frederick & Vivian, 

Just want to express our heartfelt appreciation and thanks for making our relocation so much easier especially for Dua Dua who is 23yo and has never flown before. We were hesitant and worried but both Frederick & Vivian were there every step of the way to answer any questions and concerns that we had which put our minds at ease. From the medical exam to checking in at the airport, Frederick took extra attention and care with our beloved cat. We flew Dua Dua as our excess baggage and arrived at LAX with ease. We were so relived to reunite with Dua Dua upon arrival and even the airport staffs were impressed with his age. He is now adjusting to his new life in his new home getting all the nap he needs (as attached).

Baby and Boyser, the Domestic Shorthairs traveled from Singapore to United Kingdom

Frederick and Vivian at Pets Lighthouse are truly amazing – from the start they were very clear about the terrible build-up of demand for relocation of pets following Covid and more importantly, they were sensible enough to only take on what clients they could manage, which meant they answered calls and emails promptly, made and kept appointments on time and kept us constantly updated. Despite there being no flights for my two cats, they worked tirelessly to arrange an alternative routing and we were thrilled to see our babies arrive safe and sound in the UK.

A friend of ours who had moved several years earlier, recommended them to us and I can honestly say, they exceeded our expectations and if you are lucky enough to use their services, well then, you and your furkids are in the very best of hands.
